Ghoulies, ghosties, long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night may well be prowling the streets tonight. Make sure you’ve got plenty of sweets in the house that can be used to bribe any miniature masked tricksters who come a-tapping at your chamber door. It’s All Hallows’ Eve (or Halloween as the Americans call it) and we’re getting inspired by pumpkins and the sky at night.
Orange is the New Black
Orange is a bold colour choice. It is an easy colour to clash with, so encourage your customers to check a sample of your chosen fabric against their existing or planned colour scheme. That said: orange pairs really well with blue – its opposite on the colour wheel – and with neutral colours like beige, black and white. Burnt orange was everywhere at the 2017 interior design shows which means we’ll be seeing a lot more of this vibrant colour in the coming years.
We have panel blinds, roller blinds, roman blinds and pleated blinds available in a range of colours and patterns. Ask us about our favourite orange fabrics.
Starry, Starry Night
A child’s bedroom or playroom can be lit up with these glow-in-the-dark blinds from Louvolite. By day, the starry pattern is grey on blue – when night falls, the stars light up a vivid green on a black background. Perfect for a Halloween sleepover!
