The British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) launched the Make it Safe campaign in 2009 to ensure effective safety standards for window blinds and to provide homeowners and landlords with safety advice. Since then, the BBSA has supplied over 1.3 million Make it Safe Brochures throughout the UK and worked extensively with European standards bodies to define General Product Safety Regulations that effect the entire industry. At Loveless Cook Blinds, we’re proud members of the BBSA and supporters of the Make it Safe campaign.
Now, the BBSA have launched a series of videos for the Make it Safe campaign. These new, internationally recognised videos provide information about what to look for when buying new blinds and how to make your existing blinds safer. Loveless Cook Blinds welcomes these videos as a vital way of raising awareness of window blind safety, and of providing the public with advice and guidance.
