There are four main types of pleat – Pencil Pleats, Pinch Pleats, Goblet Pleats and Box Pleats – let’s take a closer look at each type.
- Pencil Pleats. AÂ traditional and consistent pleat for an understated look.

Box Pleats. Like pinch and goblet pleats, box pleats lend themselves to accessorising.
- Pinch Pleats. Slightly more decorative than pencil pleats, pinch pleats accentuate the quality and flow of the fabric.
- Goblet Pleats. A highly decorative and luxurious pleat.
