Christmas is only a month away, and at Loveless Cook Blinds, we’re very excited about it. We have some fantastic new promotions on and some gorgeous new fabrics in – all in time for Christmas! There’s so much to think about at this time of the year that most of us don’t spare a minute for interior design, besides putting the Christmas tree up and making sure everything is tidy. However, it is worth the thought. Creating a warm, inviting atmosphere is what the festive season is all about, and it’s surprisingly simple to achieve with the right fabrics and soft furnishings. To show you how easy it is we’ve created three stunning seasonal mood boards with the help of our favourite Louvolite fabrics and soft furnishings.
Gold
Opulent and luxurious, gold always has a place at Christmas for anyone who wants to celebrate the most indulgent time of the year. Nothing says festive extravagance like gold: think draped curtains and chic tiebacks, an elegant table runner and modern lampshades. Add a touch of drama with a backdrop of dark, moody colours. Black, navy blue and deep purple work wonderfully with gold to make a sumptuous scene – the perfect backdrop for a grown-up Christmas soiree.
Neutrals
The ultimate in versatile interior design, neutral shades of cream and taupe can be dressed up for any occasion. Add some festive bling – glass baubles, silver stars and glittering snowflakes make for an understated look, but with a base of neutrals, you can be as extravagant as you like. Keep it cosy with soft furnishings in red tones: dusty pink, claret, rose… Lipstick shades give any room a feminine edge.
Green
The colour of nature and new life, green suits anyone who wants to inject some zest into their Christmas. Make your guests feel at home with soft silk cushions in burgundy and duck egg blue, gold accessories and a natural wreath centrepiece. To add some real homemade charm, you could even try making the cushions yourself.
Feeling inspired? All of these beautiful Louvolite fabrics are available now at Loveless Cook Blinds, and some can even be made into roman and roller blinds.
