Windows come in many different shapes and sizes. This can make finding curtains that are just the right size for a customer's needs difficult. A great solution to this problem is to have luxury curtains made to measure, meeting the customer's exact size requirements, rather than buying curtains readily-made. We have mentioned in the past our made to measure curtain service, so with this in mind we thought we would talk about what the service is and how bespoke curtains can help your customers get the curtains of their dreams.
What is the service?
Our made to measure service allows you to provide curtains to your customers without having to make them yourself. We are able to supply you with a large range of different accessories and fabrics but if you want curtains pre-made for you we only do so through our made to measure service. If you find yourself overwhelmed by new orders this festive season, we can offer a helping hand and make the curtains for you.
What fabrics can be used?
We can make curtains using nearly any fabric or design available. All of the large range of curtain fabrics that we receive from our suppliers can be used, including the newest fabrics as mentioned in our previous blog. We stock different fabrics from renowned suppliers including Eclipse, Simpson Interiors and Sanderson but we also offer the option to create curtains using fabric supplied by the customer themselves.
What is the cost?
As well as the fabric options, our made to measure service also allows for a variety of different headings and linings to create truly bespoke curtains. The choices of headings we offer include Pencil pleat, Pinch pleat and Eyelet, all three of which can be made with or without linings by machine, with a hand sewn hem, or entirely by hand. Each of the different options will change the overall price of the service, but our range of options starts from just £11.00 per width for up to 2.5m drop.
You can supply your own heading tapes and linings if you wish, but we also supply our own ranges for an added cost. For an added fee we also offer extras and accessories as a part of the service, including:
- Cushions
- Piped tiebacks
- Plaited tiebacks
- Valances
